Who doesn’t love a snack that has Chocolate and Bananas?
What do you need?
1/2 Medium Ripe Banana
2 teaspoons dark chocolate chips
How to do it:
1. Cut the banana in half crosswise and then peel the skin. Cut the banana into 4 pieces by cutting crosswise and the insert a Skewers into each piece. Place on a tray, cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer until frozen, about 3 hours.
2. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over slightly simmering water, over the lowest possible heat, stirring frequently. Make sure the water is not touching the bottom of the top pan. Pour the melted chocolate into a medium mug. (or use the microwave to melt the chocolate in a mug)
3. Dip each frozen banana into the chocolate, turning it to coat. Place on a tray covered in waxed paper.
4. Serve immediately or wrap individually in plastic wrap or waxed paper and freeze for up to 2 weeks. You can multiply this recipe but make sure that you don’t eat the extras. Sometimes it is just too tempting.
