Fitness professionals have much in common and share many of the same interests of gym enthusiasts but tend to look at exercise in a different perspective. The difference is training versus working out. You may be thinking, aren’t they the same? Not exactly. When you train, you have specific goals in mind that keep you going. It can mean getting stronger, faster, lighter, or improving your mobility. When you train, each workout is focused on a specific goal and reason for doing it.
Below are 6 secrets that will help you transform your life.
Often it is not as simple as just doing an exercise and seeing results, it requires time and trying variations for a specific body type and working through problem areas. For example is you have never been able to do a pull-up, you may need to work up to it or use a pull-up assistant machine to counterbalance your weight. Patience is part of every mental and physical part of your life and can help you to achieve goals you never thought were possible.
More Than Just Looking Good
Why do most people start exercising with a trainer? They want to look good. Go down the beach, wedding, and not be noticed for the wrong reasons. Yes, one of the perks of exercise is looking good, but it’s a lot more than what’s on the outside. You change inside and out. So some of the most important changes are on the inside. The real beauty is when you are stronger inside and that is most important so focus on that and you will have better results on the outside.
When we train someone, we realize that it is not about me, it is about YOU. That idea should transcend into your training as well. When you serve and support another person or group, you can become the best version of ourselves. Thus, with our training, we often group people together at the right times to create a supportive environment. So if you are trying to do it on your own, find a partner or two and you will find it helps you and you will help them.
The Real Deal
One of the problems with everyone claiming they’re fitness gurus on the internet is the fact that many of them are NOT real experts and can often cause injury if you follow the advice. Some are focused on gaining followers, looking good to others, and promoting products. Avoid this type of training, focus on the real professionals that can get you to your goal without long term problems.
Once you understand how putting on muscle is more beneficial than being skinny, you will no longer focus on your weight, you will then start to focus on body fat percentage which is more accurate when you are training.
Professional athletes, models, actors, and fitness professionals hire personal trainers to help them. Think about what that means? If someone who has fitness experience hires a trainer, doesn’t it make sense that it would be more effective for everyone else to have a trainer to help them too? If you have a goal the trainer will be the one to help you reach it must faster.
